Erene Dellaporta
Erene Dellaporta is a Visual Artist & Educator born in London, based in Southend on Sea. She graduated with a BA (Hons) Fine Art at Central St Martins, UAL in 2008 and completed a Masters in Arts Education at UCL 2017. She has exhibited in the UK and Europe.
Erene Dellaporta has a multidisciplinary interactive and participatory practice that explores societal expectations around women, the body, birth, motherhood and the post-partum journey.
Since becoming a mother she has been creating work collaboratively with her daughter; being informed by the stages of mother and child relationships they are going through, such as: infant feeding, the weight of childcare, the need for community and nature and engaging with childhood development; play, imagination and creativity.
