In 1965 Margaret Lovatt, a volunteer naturalist, lived with a bottle nose dolphin named Peter in a partially submerged house. As Margaret tried to teach Peter to speak English, their relationship grew closer and more sensuous. This series of monoprints depicts dreams Peter may have had of Margaret in such extraordinary circumstances. Each picture is a story Peter may have told himself about their bond.
